The Calling.

Lately Andy and I feel like we've been in a rut. Uncertain of what the next call is. God has called us to a new place every 18 months or so. Florida to Oklahoma. Oklahoma to Arkansas. Arkansas to here.  We've been in Bozeman a little over two years now. But the last 6 months we've been scratching our heads wondering "what's next?"
Please don't get my prelude to the point wrong. We are loving our call to Bozeman. Loving the people. Loving what we do. But there are clear signs that there is something else. Something we are clearly missing.
After a year or so of pushing away and pushing down what I thought were fleeting thoughts. God has revealed to us our next move. The next call:

Homeschool.

We realize that the next move for our lives to move our children's education from the classroom and into our home. We are moving from traditional schooling to a school that fits into our children's needs. Isaac and Liam have an abundance of energy and a need for activity!! Confining them to the four walls of a classroom is proving to be unsuccessful, at least for Isaac. The way they teach in school does not work for the way my boys learn. I'm realizing so much about eduaction, the world of homeschool, and differentiating learning styles.

There is lots of planning. Lots of people to meet. A new network to create. It's all very overwhelming. Yet ever since we said "Yes, God" to homeschooling I have so much peace about the adventure ahead.

I have much to learn about. But we are so excited for our next move. Not only that, our boys are excited and ready to be HOLMschooled!
